one time upon a time, a strange York chorus girl called Lucille LeSueur went to Hollywood and stayed at the Culver public-house when she tested for MGM (The studio changed her name to Joan Crawford--fast.) In 1939 the Munchkins checked in when they were filming The Wizard of Oz--and again in 1997 for a reunion. The Culver--built in 1924 and forward the National Register of Historic Places--is ready formerly again for its close-up after a big time renovation. Located at the corner of Culver and Washington boulevards in south-of-LA. Culver City, this triangular marvel is known as the Flatiron Building West. A quick jaunt to pair studios and with rooms starting at just $89 (the sum of two units suites are $300 per night), the Culver aims to bring life back to downtown Culver City and we're indisputable that Linda Gray, the town's mostly famous daughter, is thrilled too. Note: the bar is unclose (though we wish they'd give it a name and cast it into a scene), however the restaurant is still being reworked; stay large casked for details.
